Does this place allow dogs on the patio??
Neat little shop that has a great little cafe hidden in the back. Enjoyed my pastry & chai latte. Very friendly service.
MoreI love visiting this little coffee shop whenever we visit Groveland! Their coffee always tastes great (I usually do an iced latte with soy milk, yummy!). They have a cozy seating area in the back which is so relaxing with a cute fireplace. There's a little art gallery room and another room where you can buy clothing and really cool coffee cups. The best part about this place is the huge garden area outside! When the weather is nice, you can bring your coffee and snack outside and find many places to sit. It's really fun to walk around. Would definitely recommend!
MoreWeird place there is so many people there that do not introduce themselves there people that want you to go Maine people at cooking schools that hate Julia Child photographers that are terrible and lady's of the night that like witch hazel. I will never go there again!
MoreGreat coffee flavors
My favorite stop before I go camping. Try one of there specials! Dirty-Sexy-Chi Late. (Chi tea, expresso, coconut milk, (any choice of milk) chocolate, cayenne. Deliciousness! The grounds are beautiful. Farmers market begins in June.
MoreIs so nice i loved ! This place have really good vibes and is so chill perfect for go to take a coffee and read a book
MoreLove, love, love this place. Great coffee, great atmosphere, great people. Such a comfortable little place to take your lap top, get some coffee, knock out some work, and feel totally relaxed. They don't use sugary syrups for flavoring, only the actual fruit. I always got the orange dark chocolate latte that is made with actual orange peel and made-in-house dark chocolate sauce, soooo yummy!
MoreAwesome garden and good coffee too! Had breakfast and coffee here this morning on our way out of town. I think our party of 9 was a bit overwhelming for the lone guy working away but he got everyone taken care of and we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the beautiful relaxing garden before continuing on our trip.
MoreWe love hanging out by the fire in the cozy living room inside Mountain Sage and having a great coffee. This place is inside of an old converted home and it has that great cozy feel of weathered wood, cold weather, and the outdoors. Very nice gardens in the back where plants are also available for sale.
MoreAmazing collective energy at Mtn Sage :)
Super slow service, because the owner chats too much and doesn't know how to make several others at once.
MoreWhat an amazing place! I went simply in search of a coffee but before I knew it I was in a secret garden. I wished I could have stayed all day. Week? Year?
MoreVery cool coffee shop as well as a nursery. Pretty cool combo.
All good. Great little shop with friendly barista and great coffee.
Had my first cold brew, didn't care for it at the big chain coffee shops but smooth not bitter finish here.
MoreI love this place. Great coffee and tea and pastries. There are places to sit and relax. An art gallery. Amazing photography. A little gift shop. Some greenery outside that may interest gardening types.Staff has always been really pleasant when I've gone there. It really feels like the best place to grab coffee in town to me.
MoreWe never miss a chance to stop here for their interesting offerings
Very friendly staff and tasty food and coffee
Only place in this town where I could get good WiFiStaff is friendly too
Interesting photography, yummy treats, comfortable old house. Drop by to see.
We stoped there on our way to Yosemite in middle of June and where positively surprised. The atmosphere were cozy and it filled like home. The place has toys and books for kids so we were able to get some quiet time while kids were busy with a new toys. The place has a separate room with amazing Yosemite pictures for sale and variety price range. The service was nice and coffee was really good. In the outdoor they has enormous types of plants which I guess they are selling. Anyway, it just creates feeling in a park
MoreLove Sage Coffee go everytime we're in town and their Orange Dark Chocolate Latte
MoreHad a delicious coffee here. There are many unusual and decadent choices. All that, and the server is gracious!!
Moregreat coffee, staff was really nice, face mask and social distancing was reinforce and appreciated, thank you!
MoreOrange Mocha is heavenly
Really lovely and quaint cafe. The lavender latte was delicious, they used real lavender flavoring rather than a syrup so it wasn't too sweet. The blackberry coffee cake was homemade with real blackberries.
MoreBest coffee and Baristas!
Quaint coffee shop with a lovely front room for reading and hanging out. Local art, books and prints for sale.
MoreGreat place to stop near Yosemite National Park for coffee. They brew Wild Goose Coffee Roasters, which aside from being good specialty coffee, provides food to those who need it with purchase of their coffee. All the staff are always really sweet, and the place itself is very homey! Would definitely recommend.
MoreWe are so happy we found this coffee, tea and nursery to stop at when we’re traveling they Groveland!! Super friendly and knowledgeable service. AWESOME selection of coffee, lattes and teas. Great smoothies, quiches, and other bakery items! Organic! Home baked! You’ll love it!
MoreGreat atmosphere, friendly service, delicious drinks! Be sure to wander out back and enjoy the garden, stage, and spiral staircased treehouse.
MoreGreat Dirty Chai Tea
Super friendly... Super interesting.. I won't tell. Just visit if you get the chance.
MoreIs this a coffee shop?? Its an experience. Must visit if ur around YosemiteOrange dark chocolate is the best! I had to take two coffees lol..
MoreFantastic food, atmosphere, and affordable price
Great coffee, friendly staff, and super nice garden!
Very eclectic coffee shop. Fun to visit, and what I expected. But if it's cold outside, you'll be cold inside. Also, the furniture looks like it came from my Grandmothers, grandmother's house. I had the daily quiche - my husband says it's usually good, but mind was a bit dry and tasteless. Coffee (just regular brew) was fresh and yummy. I'll probably come back on occasion, but it won't be a regular stop for me.
MoreBeautiful location and friendly staff
Fantastic service great coffee and hot chocolate. Quite quirky and 100% original....thank you!
MoreIt's a pillar of Groveland. I have fond memories of Mountain Sage from my time in California several years ago, and was happy to see it open in winter on a recent visit. There's a tasty selection of drinks and baked goods, but because of the small town vibe where the baristas are chatting to each customer about their (the customers') pets, medical issues and everything else, everything does take a long time to make.We were happy to have our pup there with us, and grateful for the dog biscuits on hand.
MoreThe coffee is swoon worthy but I am so disappointed that I got there at 4 they were closed when there hours say they close at 5.
MoreBeautiful Zen type place. The coffee is pleasant. The most beautiful flowers are in their garden surrounding the shop. I enjoy the mocha since this is all I've tried here. If your a Starbucks drinker the regular coffee will need an extra shot of espresso. Service here is not fast. Do not expect that here. The server will take her time asking you about your day and where your from just keep in mind this is a place where you get quality service. It's not an In and out style.
MoreGreat stop on my drive back from Yosemite. Perfect amount of funky atmosphere. Lovely garden. Nice people.
MoreCute, homey spot for a sweet treat and tea/coffee. Great tea lattes and they were almost out if the treats by 11 am so recommend getting there on the earlier side. Lovely outdoor area for lounging and plenty of privacy away from others to take your mask off.
MoreI loved this quaint and quirky little coffee shop in an old house. Also the coffee was great!
MoreCozy and offbeat vibes, ok coffee! The staff was friendly and down to earth, even though they did get our order wrong. I got one of the specialty lattes (nutmeg something) and it tasted very much like a normal vanilla latte - not a bad one though. There is a lovely garden in the back, where I think you can buy plants!
MoreWent here last April - was staying at the Yosemite Hostel and came here for breakfast and a cup of tea - both were delicious! Very homey atmosphere, people knew each other, lots of plants around and there was a nice plant area outside. Very calming and peaceful - just what I needed after a long journey!
MoreI’ve been visiting Groveland for years and this is my favorite coffee shop. Not only are the beans delicious, but the atmosphere is friendly and cute. The other coffee shop in town isn’t as cute and they make a very bitter coffee.
MoreBest fun coffee drink I've ever had. Sexy Dirty Chai. Just do it. Also an adorable coffee place and gallery.
MoreI had THE BEST lavender latte here! The cafe is great! There is seating and a great garden outback. You can buy practically anything you see. The employees were super nice and personable. I'm looking forward to going back. We need more places like this.
